I took a bit of time off of work today to have dinner with a friend whom I have not seen in a while and now I’m doing some cleaning. With my trip to California next month and also moving I have quite a few things no long have need for both cosplay related and misc. geek items. I rather have the extra money for California plus it is less I will have move. I will also be taking a few select commissions (such as fully lined Hogwarts house robes for $130 which includes US shipping).
A few of the items (prices include shipping within the US):
Yuna (FFX-2) hair braid - $25
36” long green wig with bangs (was purchased for C.C. from Code Geass but never used) - SOLD

Instead of cleaning what do I end up doing actually being on my laptop and researching fabrics and other things for future outfits I want to create. With my trip to California coming up next month I may end up spending a day or two looking at fabric stores in L.A. and less time at Disneyland (I’m more excited about Universal Hollywood and possible taking a tour of the WB studio). My current list of projects based on upcoming conventions
Fanboy Expo/The Geek Gathering:
Scarlett Witch - New Bodysuit
A.J. Lee - WWE Diva
Blind Mag - Chase the Morning Gown
Still torn between 2 different projects
Rule 63 (Fe)man
Assassin’s Creed 3 - Gillian McCarthy
Hey everyone. I’m Samantha and I was one of the judges for TBCC’s costume contest this weekend (I was dressed as Polaris). I along with cloudsrandomthoughts and kirarhian had the honor of judging for this awesome event and I just wanted to start by saying that it was an utter privilege. This is going to be a very long post so I’m putting it under a cut.
What necroticnymph and cloudsrandomthoughts have said really sums everything up for me; however, I feel that I should express it in my own words. Being involved with cosplay as long as I have (this year is my 15th year) and entering in contest I know exactly how everyone must have felt. It was such an honor getting the opportunity of judging the costume contest for this awesome event. I apologize for having prejudging swept away from us or to anyone who felt that we did not spend enough time letting all of you amazing cosplayers tell us about your creation. I know that improvements will be made for next year and I cannot wait to see all of those amazing cosplays.
